From young to adults, everyone was in awe of Bollywood’s fashion and style in the 80s and 90s except Fawad Khan. Pakistani heartthrob has a distinctive fashion choice. The actor revealed that the fashion in Bollywood during that era was definitely not something he liked.
If B-Town influenced the actor’s fashion choices while growing up, Fawad said: “As far as style is concerned, no. The Bollywood we watched when growing up was a time when Amitabh Bachchan was doing films like Satte Pe Satta and Anil Kapoor was doing Mr India,”
“In the 80s, film [Bollywood] fashion was something that was probably not in line with what I liked,” confessed Fawad. The actor, who will be seen in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil said men shouldn’t wear flared pants.
“For the longest time, they were wearing flared-bottom trousers; they would start flaring from the knee-down so that’s not the kind of fashion that I necessarily agree with. I never thought men should wear those,” he added.
The actor, who has been lauded for being a lead actor in TV serial Humsafar, added that the fashion trend in the 1970s and 1980s did not “influence” his “kind of fashion.
